Success is Everywhere

Project Based on the fact that there will be no unsuccessful students or teachers when given the opportunity, the Project implemented with the slogan ‘Success is everywhere with equal opportunity in education” in the 2022-2023 school year aims to improve the quality of education and academic success in 8 schools in Adana and Ankara, and to enable students to develop in sports, cultural and artistic fields. Supporting schools with books, materials, equipment, and educational activities, organizing academic support courses, conducting follow-up exams, supporting school teams, organizing field trips, providing materials for robotic coding activities, and organizing remote and face-to-face training for students, administrators, teachers, and parents are the works carried out within the scope of the Project.

Classroom of the Future Project

The Classroom of the Future Project is aimed to develop students academically, socially, and culturally, to increase the technology literacy of students and teachers, and to use technology effectively in courses. The Project is implemented in English, Science, Mathematics, and Turkish studies in selected 7th-grade students, and tablets and data lines are sent to students and teachers to be used throughout the year. Teachers can give homework to students, take exams, share educational videos, and benefit from applications through the Edmodo program used in the Project. During the Project, various face-to-face and online trainings are organized for teachers, and their professional development is supported. A Future Classroom laboratory was established in one project school for more students to benefit from technology and new-generation educational tools (Arduino, stem sets, etc.).

The Insurance of Education: Our Teachers Project

The Project targets supporting and strengthening female teachers appointed to the villages in the first years of their profession. To reach that goal, activities have been designed so that female teachers can develop themselves professionally and individually, make a better start, and position themselves as pioneers of societal change.

The Project aims to overcome the challenges below:

Cultural, tangible, and professional challenges experienced by teachers in the first years of their career who are assigned to villages/small towns,
Lack of teaching experience,
Lack of knowledge about rural life,
Lack of psychological support.

To overcome these challenges, the objectives of the program are:

a) Supporting the personal development of the teachers,
b) Supporting the professional development of the teachers,
c) Positioning teachers as ‘Social Impact Generators’ With the motto, "We were one, now becoming a thousand.”
Access Project

Within the scope of the Access Project, which is being carried out for the 12th time this year, English education is given at TED Schools for 9th-grade students with limited financial opportunities but is successful. The program provides 360 hours of face-to-face and online English teaching. Students are aimed to gain competencies in community service, personal development, leadership, environmental awareness, technology literacy, and 21st-century skills. During the education and transportation of students, all educational materials, including books, etc., are covered within the scope of the Project.

Healthy Future with Education Project

Healthy Future with Education Project aims to raise awareness of middle-school students who continue their education in public schools and their families through training and competitions to be given by experts on health education such as hygiene, personal care, adolescence, healthy food, first aid, and personal development such as coping with stress. As a result of the training to be held, it is aimed that students and family members develop health awareness, gain awareness about their right to access health, share their acquired skills and experiences with their environment, and show behaviors that will set an example for the society they belong to. In 2022-2023, the Project continued its third term. The Project was carried out with 7th-grade students and their parents in 4 public secondary schools located in disadvantaged areas in Adana and Ankara. In addition to the training, subjects such as environmental health, environmental awareness, climate crisis awareness, and digital addiction were added to the training plan.

English Language Education Project for TOHM

To contribute to the language education of athletes who benefit from the Turkish Olympic Preparation Centers (TOHM) and pursue their sports careers in shooting, athletics, boxing, gymnastics, weightlifting, judo, canoeing, rowing, archery, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, and swimming, within the scope of the unique curriculum prepared by TED University and TED Headquarters, Foreign Languages Directorate, 360 hours of online English language education is provided for 90 weeks, 4 hours a week.
